Senior Manager Process/Risk Management - Industrial Technology

ASM is currently looking for a Senior Manager Process/Risk management to join the Global Risk and Process Management team in Almere, The Netherlands.

The Senior Manager Process/Risk Management is a new role. The risk- and process management team, currently three people, is responsible for ASMs risk management process as well as the coordination of business process management together with the global business process owners and business process experts.

Key objectives of this role are:

• Build an effective risk and process management culture focused on adding value;
• Improve process management across our company to enhance scalability and support company growth;
• Support business leaders in creating process documentation, managing process reviews and performing risk management for their processes;
• Facilitate and stimulate continuous improvement by the global process owners;
• Convert and integrate the outcome of top-level risk assessments, reviews and audits in the business processes.

As Senior Manager, you are proactive and execute with pace, elegance and urgency. You have excellent communication skills and know how to manage your stakeholders. You understand processes and risks so that your advice can easily be implemented by the business teams.

Further you have a(n):

• 8+ years of relevant working experience, for instance in the domain of Business Operations, Risk Management, Process improvement, Quality;
• Affinity with engineering and/or manufacturing processes;
• Master degree, either in management, engineering, or lean six sigma black belt;
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Experience in advising business leaders, business controllers and process owners;
• No-nonsense mentality coupled with curiosity;
• Ability to focus on quality instead of compliance;
• Desire to understand the root cause of the challenges you face;
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing) with the ability to influence across a global organization within a diverse and multicultural environment;
• The role is based in the Netherlands (Almere) with up to 10% travel.
